Shields
Our Modular Armour Shield Systems (MASS) utilise the most advanced light weight composite armour technologies to achieve maximum protection without restricting the user’s ability to operate.
Our shields are available in a range of sizes and shapes, from Compact-Confined Space shields to full length shields in regular shape TIS range or Cut-out shape RIS range. We offer a range of ballistic protection levels from handgun to high velocity weapon threats to suit the users’ operational requirements. Bespoke options are available on request without minimum order quantity requirements.
Designed in collaboration with military and police tactical firearms teams, Tactical Intervention Shields (TIS) are available in various sizes and have been designed for vehicle, aircraft and maritime deployments, the searching of buildings, and confined areas in tubular structures such as aircraft, trains, buses and ships. The modular shields are equipped with a carry harness system enabling the operator to carry the shield on their back or to their front, and mounting positions for tactical shield lights. Any two ARV-TIS can be connected to provide a rigid long shield capability. The modular cover design also enables additional ballistic plates to be connected to increase the area of protection if required.’
This shield type incorporates all of the ergonomic features embodied in the MASS range. The MRS is a variation of the ARV-TIS design but provides a greater area of protection for the Officer and their support team. Similar to our other shields, the MRS can be bespoke manufactured to satisfy specific mission requirements, such as the containment and searching of buildings and other structures.
Designed in collaboration with UK police tactical firearms teams, Rapid Intervention Shields (RIS) are available in various sizes and ballistic protection levels. Designed for vehicle, aircraft and maritime deployments, the searching of buildings, and confined areas in tubular structures such as aircraft, trains, buses and ships.
The light modular shields feature tactical cut outs to enable accurate supported single handed shooting with the shield in different orientations when this is dictated by the operational environment The shields are fitted for a carry harness option, and mounting positions for tactical shield lights.
The MBS is a modular three-part shield that has been specifically designed for users that have to conduct operations within a marine environment and is therefore neutrally buoyant. The harness is fitted with quick release fastenings that provide additional safety.
The VPS ballistic shield provides full body length protection to the entry team, dominates doorways, corridors, and open areas. The shield is equipped with various hand grips for ergonomic shield carriage, a harness option to suit different types of mission support and provides forward visibility via the ballistic view port. The modular nature of the shield design allows for the attachment of ancillary equipment such as tactical lights, cameras, radios, emergency first aid kit, or ammo pouches. The Viewpoint shield is robust and capable of being carried two handed by a single operator with firearms support to provide team protection. The shield can be equipped with an optional wheelbase that enables the shield to be rapidly mounted and dismounted for fast deployment.
The RIS, Rapid Intervention Shields are a hand portable ballistic shield that can be carried single handed by the operator for use in confined space deployments. The tactical cut provides the operator with core body coverage and enables accurate supported shooting. The shields are available in a range of size options.
A foldable ballistic briefcase designed to be discreet, easily transportable, and quickly deployable to provide NIJ Level IIIa handgun rated ballistic protection. Ideal for Close Protection Officers and protected persons.
Additional inserts are available to increase the ballistic protection to NIJ Level III. The case features a protective out cover and useable pockets for documentation.
Trolley Mounted Shields

A modular ballistic shield system which provides police armed responders with increased levels of protection and high levels of mobility. This shield has been designed for ease of transportation and rapid deployment. Consisting of three ballistic panels that can be quickly mounted onto its wheelbase in a matter of seconds. The Vixen shield area of protection can be increased or decreased to enable the operators to negotiate doorways and restricted spaces. Its modular wheelbase also provides carriage space for vital team equipment.
The Shield Camera System provides operators with forward vision in full colour, thermal and IR light.
The dismounted shields can be used for individual officer protection.
A four wheeled extendable mobile shield unit with redundancy built into the ballistic window design that provides the operator with two separate ballistic windows. The composite armour has a multi-hit capability and minimises the risk of ricochet. Ajax is equipped with a four wheeled base unit that is optimised to provide maximum mobility in urban areas. The shield unit is equipped with a lifting mechanism, enabling the operator to raise the shield to negotiate hazards on the ground. The operator can increase or decrease the area of shield protection whilst negotiating doorways and restricted spaces. This shield can be configured to suit the mission as a result of its unique modular and interchangeable ballistic panel design.
Modular Armour Protection System (MAPS)
MAPS provides a key role to secure areas whilst establishing temporary defensive positions such as sentry positions, check points and observation positions and enabling quick re-deployments to new locations. The modular design ensures that the MAPS can be broken down and reassembled easily when required by the operators and can easily be transported in a vehicle, helicopter and maritime craft. Once assembled the systems are self-supporting and will withstand the effects of small arms fire.

Ballistic Blankets
Our ballistic blankets are designed to bespoke customer requirements to defeat various ballistic threats from handgun to rifle calibre ammunition. The blanket features a protective FR high tenacity nylon outer cover to protect the armour material, various hand grips, and magnets and/or hooks to enable multiple deployment possibilities. Dependant on the level of ballistic protection required, the armour can be rolled, or ‘folded’ for easy transportation and deployment
Make Safe Solutions
We design and manufacture light weight and portable weapon discharge containers, used to make safe weapons, safely conduct weapons checks, and complete load/un-load drills.
The light and compact design makes them suitable to be carried in police vehicles.
